Renée Darling / Visual Artist

My artistic journey has been an adventure, filled with constant growth and transformation. It all started with my passion for capturing the world through a camera lens, which led me to earn my formal degree in Photography from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

In 2016, I took a bold step into another creative passion, transitioning to painting and launching my own art business. Each brushstroke tells a story, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter!

Now with canvas and paintbrush in hand, I express my unique view of the world. Each piece I create has its own energy, color, and movement. I love allowing my creativity to flow.

My goal is to tell a story, connect with viewers, and evoke emotions. I aim to capture the beauty around us and within ourselves, reminding us of the strength we find in life’s journey.

In 2023, my artwork Inside the Glass was published with The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey in Canon City, Colorado. I was honored to be the featured artist for their Annual Harvest Festival with my award-winning piece.

I’m passionate about creating art that bursts with movement, emotion, and color. My style is deeply inspired by animals, western themes, nature, and landscapes. I paint with an abstract, realistic, impressionistic style, using bold, fluid lines and vivid hues to capture energy and emotions. Each piece reflects my connection to the world around me, aiming to evoke powerful emotions and tell stories through the beauty of life.
